Quarterly Readiness

A readiness position you can present and defend: which controls are validated, which are asserted but not yet evidenced, and what changed since last quarter — each figure traceable to the evidence behind it.

Accountability

Who owns what, what is blocked, and where the work actually went. Board questions get answered from the same record the engineers work in, not from a deck assembled for the meeting.

What changes quarter to quarter

The board sees three numbers and where each came from. Validated: controls with evidence that an assessor has reviewed. Evidenced: controls with artifacts attached but not yet reviewed. Asserted: controls someone has claimed without proof. Quarter over quarter, the movement between those three states is the readiness story. Not a re-scored spreadsheet, but the same record the engineers work in, read at board altitude. Any figure opens to the control, the evidence and the owner behind it.
